Our two dogs (Louie and Rosie), horses (Bud and Dolly) and a hamster (Buddy) remind us of why we enjoy veterinary medicine.Ĭerebrospinal fluid markers of Coccidioidomycosis in dogs. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children that keep everyday interesting with active involvement in dance, soccer and baseball.

I live in Tucson with my wife, Portia Alcott, who is also a practicing veterinarian in Tucson. A transition back to private practice in 2014 resulted in my arrival in Tucson with the penultimate goal of practice ownership in 2020. Clinical research and a growing interest in neurology drove a residency in veterinary neurology (2014). An invitation for an equine internal medicine residency was pursued at Iowa State University (2009) along with an adjunct professor position within the teaching hospital. Practicing small animal and equine practice at Grantline Veterinary Hospital in Sacramento California sparked a passion for service and an interest in specialty veterinary medicine. I am a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2004). The ultimate joy of helping people through the care of their pets was a calling. Veterinary medicine has been my passion since childhood and was solidified at my first job as a veterinary technician at age 16.

Dr Carla and staff take care of all 5 Chi's and 2 cats.Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Neurology and Large Animal Medicine Our Sweet Pea (Chihuahua) had to spend the night, and was running back into the kennel area and licking the Vet Tech's face before we left. I can't thank them enough for their compassion! They're the best! Took my Bugsy when no one else would see him, removed nasty tumor and treated my dog like a king. Louie, Katie, Maggie and even Peace say Thank you to everyone at the clinic!

Thank you! He is now pain free and using that leg more and more each day! The whole staff is awesome and they help to make a bad situation so much better. She was so great with Louie and his recent FHO. Hubbard is awesome! She takes such good care of my pets. :) Charles Xavier is now home and on a strict care schedule until he fully recovers. Highly recommend them for ALL veterinary needs. They were very patient with my boyfriend and I as we called everyday to check and make sure our cat was okay. They're prices are AMAZING and customer service is excellent too. They saw him right away after we found out he'd broken it and they got him into surgery asap. Hubbard and her team took absolutely WONDERFUL care of my kitten when he broke his femur bone. Now she's opened an office in Blountstown! Yay!ĭr. I've since used her for my cats and dogs add well. No one wanted to treat them as pets but she was, at that time a mobile vet, and helped me with them. I started using Dr Hubbard when i got chickens. These guys really care for the animals they see. You'll be cheating yourself your family and your pet if you don't go to this clinic.Įveryone else is overrated not to mention careless over priced and doesn't seem to realize your pet is a part of you and you're a part of your pet. Hubbard is a super star and has an amazing bed side manner as well as the rest of the staff all the way to the receptionist. I don't just throw around compliments like this either. This clinic is experienced and ingenious. Plain and simple you'll pay 2x+ at any other vet clinic that has a revolving door and over worked staff that never remembers you or your pet until they look up your file. I've worked in animal medicine before and I love how this clinic uses the most humane anesthesia compared to other clinics that use cruel cheap drugs while charging you top dollar. They have a lemur they are exotic, and she saved my ferret. they told me to give up my baby girl, and well she is now eating, gaining weight. I found this place upon happenstance she pulled a tooth from my tink, who btw had lost half her body weight in a week of my force feeding her, she ran blood work, she ran X-rays, she did 1000% more than Breeze or Dr Kim. Two emergency visits to that vet she told me "She's old maybe it's her time, in a week if she's not better put her gown, that's the humane thing to do". This 'vet' never ran blood work, prescribed an antiobiotic, an nsaid and wet dog food. I was told by my ferrets vet to put her down bc it was her time, she is 6-7 that is heartbreaking but not what I wanted.
